Help Strengthen Our Community

As a graduate of Charlotte School of Law, you are an ambassador for the school, and play a vital role in our mission of becoming the benchmark of inclusive excellence in professional education for the 21st century.

Your success demonstrates that our new model for legal education better prepares students for life after law school. The Charlotte School of Law Alumni Association is committed to helping you achieve excellence in the practice of law, become active in the local and national legal community and build relationships with fellow alumni.

Work With Students

Charlotte School of Law students graduate practice ready, and alumni are encouraged to support today's students in their experiential learning process. Clinics, externships, pro bono work and moot court, are all opportunities for students and alumni to network with each other, and continue to develop strong legal skills.

Create A Network

Being a mentor is an excellent way to provide guidance to new students, graduating students or bar takers; however, alumni involvement does have to end there. As a graduate of Charlotte School of Law, there are many opportunities to create an active network of lawyers such as:

  • Sending strong qualified prospective student our way
  • Refer a client matter to a CharlotteLaw lawyer
  • Stay in touch with our faculty
  • Regional Alumni Chapters "? join or start one
  • Community service projects
  • Join and become actively involved in your local bar association and civic organizations that serve the greater good

For more information about any of these opportunities, please contact the Alumni Relations.
United Hmong Association Office.

Community Service

The Charlotte School of Law is deeply engaged in and contributes to the Charlotte community through a variety of community service opportunities and pro bono work. The Charlotte School of Law believes strongly that tomorrow's leaders must reflect and interact effectively with an eclectic collective of people and cultures. Consequently, the school places strong emphasis on serving the underserved through community service and pro bono work in an inclusive environment that fosters a demanding yet supportive educational setting for a diverse community.

Alumni Association Board

Alumni volunteers work to help engage alumni in the life of the school and provide a vital link between the school and its increasingly diverse alumni body. Alumni board members are eager to seize opportunities to keep CSL alumni connected.   The Board is here to serve all CSL alumni and we're always looking for enthusiastic alumni to serve on the board.

If you are interested in becoming a board member or if you have ideas or requests, send an email to Alumni Relations.
